Stay safe: never send money for a job, registration fee or purchase before you have met the person and verified the offer or item. Approval by moderators means an ad passed a basic review — it does not mean the advertiser is verified by NISAD. Safety tips
Safety tips
- Never pay a "registration", "processing" or "uniform" fee to get a job.
- Meet in a busy public place and bring someone with you.
- Inspect goods before paying. Avoid paying deposits to strangers.
- Confirm a professional's qualifications and an artisan's past work directly.
- Don't share bank PINs, OTPs or BVN with anyone.
- Use the "Report this listing" button for anything suspicious.
Terms of use
- The marketplace is a free noticeboard run by NISAD volunteers. NISAD is not a party to any deal.
- Advertisers must post accurate, lawful adverts and be entitled to offer what they advertise.
- Prohibited: fraud, upfront-fee job offers, illegal goods, weapons, adult content, hate speech, and duplicates.
- Moderators may approve, edit, decline or remove any advert at their discretion.
- Approval is a basic content check and is not verification or endorsement of the advertiser.
- Users deal with each other at their own risk. NISAD accepts no liability for losses arising from listings.
